“ Food was great, our server was nice and very helpful. The drinks are tasty - great casual dining experience ”
“ my wife and I come in here a few times a year, this time we ordered the fish and onion rings, my wife got fries. dinner was awesome, 4 nice size fish. service was great, sitting next to tables that where right below us was not the most comfortable, I can't imagine sitting on the lower part having people look down on you. the week prior to this we went to A seafood restaurant and order their fish and chips, we had one piece of fish and a bucket full of fries, which were so salty and for twice as much money ”
“ I came with my in laws for dinner. My FIL wanted country fried steak and the reviews said they had it. We came during winter break so the wait was long for a Monday night-about 45-50 minutes before we were seated. The restaurant was a cozy warm which was nice on a winters night. Sadly, the country fried steak was only a breakfast item and they refused to make an exception. That's the only thing that would've made our experience better. That being said-their fried chicken was so stinking good! It came with 5 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. Everyone at the table mentioned how tasty it was and how we would come back for that alone. I suggest not ordering the mashed potatoes for a side as it was only okay. I ordered the seasonal salad that came with arugula, sweet potatoes, nuts, and I added the salmon. It was very delicious and I would 100% order it again. I also appreciated the portion size of the salad. Overall we left very satisfied and would come back to try the country fried steak and order the fried chicken of course! ”
“ We found this spot on Yelp as we were traveling into the area for the holidays, and we were so happy with it!! It was about 7pm on 12/23 and there were people waiting to be seated, but they were able to accommodate our party of 6 right away if we sat on the patio. The heater was warm, we had great local beer, and the food was excellent! Our server, Dupree, was great. He answered all of our questions and provided great service with good recommendations. My husband and I shared the Dixie Cheese Steak sandwich and fries and the sandwich was so good with plenty of meat, and the fries were perfect! (We're a tad persnickety about our fries) The onion rings were perfectly fried and the garlicky green beans were a great addition. Thanks for a great introduction to St. George! ”
“ George's Corner is a true gem in St. George, Utah. From previous experience I've learned that all ratings and reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. Food is subjective because not everyone has the same palette, likes and dislikes. After trying this place ourselves we can confidently agree with the high stars and glowing reviews. I had the burger and you can taste the quality of ingredients! They grind their beef in-house. Which is very important when ordering your burger medium or less than medium. Fries were good as well My lady had the cheesesteak and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. So much so that she didn't even offer me a bite Our server was super friendly, helpful and not at all overbearing. Exceptional! The restaurant itself is nicely lit to give a cozy and welcoming feel. We also appreciated the decor on the walls. The place does get packed, so expect to wait for a bit if you don't have a reservation. We would definitely recommend this place ”
“ So glad this local restaurant was recommended to us, the staff was very nice and welcoming! We were seated quickly, welcomed by our amazing server Jonah, he handed us drink specials and asked for our drink orders. My apple cider margarita was so delicious, my husband loved his Christmas holiday beer, my kid had a good size hot cocoa. The food was made to perfection, hot, tasty and good dinner portions. The lamb burger was perfectly cooked to medium rare, tender with a spicy kick. I tried the salmon slider & garlic green beans and both were excellent! My kids buttermilk chicken was hot and crispy, paired well with Mac n Cheese, she didn't enjoy the mashed potatoes but my husband tried it and said he liked them. I would highly recommend this restaurant when in town or needing a fun place to go after work or with friends. ”
“ Yum! This was across the street from my hotel. I had the strawberry lemonade which was delicious. I ordered the BLT for lunch and ended up coming back the next day because it was so good. Huge heirloom tomato - amazing. Service was good too. I ate here three times in 3 days. ”
“ Substitute mushrooms in place of cucumbers and add Pepper Jack cheese to the Lamb Burger....10 out of 10 Staff is super friendly. Even helped pick a campsite nearby. Parking is limited and the wait for a table upstairs was a bit long, but the downstairs bar area was very open, lively, and seating available. ”
“ I came here because it's very recommended online and has good reviews; however, the food isn't the best and is a bit on the pricey side. The ambiance and decor is 10/10, it is obvious they are very proud of the history and it reflects in all the pictures they have around the restaurant. The theme really comes through all across the restaurant and they didn't overlook any area. Here is what we bought and what I thought: Fries: delicious! Nachos: not as flavorful as I expected Bbq ribs: large portion, but the bbq sauce was different, never tasted any bbq like it, Very thick texture. Kids chicken: delicious! Mac n cheese: bland in my opinion Kids sliders: my daughter wasn't fond of it. We ordered two, she ate only half of one and chose to eat chicken tenders instead. ”
